Formerly a Portland eyesore, this historic building has become the heart of urban living in the Eliot area. Only a mile northeast of downtown, this architecturally fascinating building provides residences, eateries such as Billy Reed's Restaurant, and several shops You will even find an Internet cafe and a laundromat. Bill Reed, an area developer, purchased the building in the 1980s. Today, he boasts environmental and community awareness in construction and use of space.
