This little-known park is great for long walks and picnics. Paths canopied by old trees wind through the green space without any steep hills. The rolling park has basketball courts, baseball fields, and plenty of space to chip golf balls or pitch a blanket. You'll also find a picnic shelter, picnic tables and playground fun for kids. Not a safe place to linger after dark, it's still a nice little getaway close to the city. There's also a market nearby. Review © 2009, Wcities |
