This is a cheerful place which offers pleasant service and which is reminiscent of the type of café frequently found in France or Switzerland. The clientele ranges from buisnesspeople during the day to theatre-goers at night. It is more of a café than bar—despite the name—and both the coffees and the prices are excellent. The Italian-style sandwiches and large salads are very tasty and form the backbone of the menu. Rarely seen sweets such as muffins add a tasty twist. The daily pasta special is a reliable choice.
