Step through the ornate wooden portico and enter the world of French-Moroccan hospitality. The vivid colors and hypnotic music create an atmosphere where guests' palates get to take a break from less-interesting Czech-style meat and potatoes. Tangy soups and Moroccan spring rolls make for great starters while the lamb with prunes is a favorite entrée. And, of course, couscous tops the list of veggie dishes. Whatever your choice, be sure to sample one of the tasty Moroccan wines. If you stay into the evening, the belly dancers come out to provide entertainment.

No matter as whoever is here will taste some of the best Mediterranean-influenced Yugoslav cooking this side of the Adriatic. Go ahead and feast on a heaping platter of well-spiced beef fingers. Other dishes, including fish, are equally as fair priced. Great Yugoslav pop soundtracks play in the background and, unlike seaside life in general, service is anything but slow.

Its splendid reputation for well-prepared dishes, especially Spanish, has spread around town, drawing locals in addition to hotel guests. The plush furnishings are well laid out across in the large space. Service sets the standard for hotel restuarants. Spanish-owned, the hotel's southern influence is best reflectedin its selection of wines and beers. Pricey but worth it.
