Excellent value for money |
Na Strzi 5/343 Prague 14000 Czech Republic +420 2 4244 2599 http://www.pizzeriealdo.cz/ |
One of the better Czech-owned Italian joints in the city, Aldo specializes in pizzas. A wide selection of well-prepared pasta dishes, soups and salads round out the offering. But if visitors make the trip out from the center, a tasty, red sauce pie should be first on their minds. Service is far above the local norm, reflecting the friendly, neighborhood atmosphere, and a good selection of Czech and Italian wines and Czech beers are served. Simply decorated, family photos hang on the walls. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Pizza Native American style |
Belehradská 4 Nusle Prague 14000 Czech Republic +420 (0)2 4174 1580 / +420 (0)2 6121 5622 http://www.baretta.cz/ |
Basing their take on pizza on an old tale of an Italian who went to America during the 16th century to discover the pleasures of the famed red sauce pie among Native Americans, this easy—going joint exudes a relaxed, no-worries sentiment within the tomahawks, bison heads and other Native American décor which gives this place its off-beat character—regardless of the accuracy of their pizza history. Inexpensive pizzas are served up Czech style—no mozzarella but edam cheese—along with a wide array of pastas and salads. The place feels a bit like a college hang-out considering the low-prices and mostly young clientele. The delivery traffic keeps the place humming. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Opulent setting for affordable pizzas and Italian basics and for more expensive seafood. A wide array of pizza and pasta dishes are complemented by fish specialties, including the delicious sounding hogfish in boiled spinach. A range of meat dishes round out the menu. Regal courtyard seating when warm and service to match. Note that the pizzeria is located in the building next to the more expensive restaurant. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Carry out and dine in |
Karlovo Namesti, 28 Prague 12000 Czech Republic +420 (0)2 2233 0222 / +420 (0)2 2233 0223 |
Don't let the name throw you. This pizzeria serves dine in guests as well as delivers pizzas. Reminiscent of a typical American pizzeria, the interior of this restaurant is decorated in clean and trendy diner fashion. Off to the left is the service bar which doubles as a carry out counter. Different from the traditional brick fired oven, watch the staff prepare your pizza American style in large industrial ovens. The menu is extensive and prices are quite reasonable. Don't forget to check out other Italian items. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Possibly the best in Prague |
Jugoslávských partyzánu 8 Dejvice Prague 16000 Czech Republic +420 (0)2 3334 2694 http://www.grosseto.cz/ |
Many argue that this is the king of Prague pizzerias. Judging by numbers served, it may well be the most popular. The foyer is always full of customers waiting for tables or for takeout pizzas. Don't worry though, the host professionally manages the mob and the wait is seldom long. Although it also serves enormous pasta dishes and calzones that have outgrown their plates, regular pizza remains the specialty. The selection is diverse and the pizzas are all prepared and baked at the front of the restaurant. The prices meet the Prague standard for Italian cuisine. Why not take the A metro to the end of the line and judge for yourself? Review © 2007, Wcities |

Longtime pizza favorite |
V Jircharich 12 Prague 11000 Czech Republic +420 2 2493 4100 http://www.kmotra.cz/ |
One of Prague's first pizzerias and still one of the best. The wood-baked thin crusts are cheap and delicious and the crowds that have been coming for more than seven years attest to that fact. Over a dozen pizzas on offer; try the Mussel-laden Kmotra or the spicy Dabelska. A whole range of pastas are also available. There is a non-smoking section. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Good food, wonderful interior, and great service means this is your best pizza bet anywhere near Charles Bridge. Everything is substantial and of good quality. Hidden Pizzeria |
Rimska 33 Prague, Prague 12000 Czech Republic +420 7 2871 2242 |
Finding this pizzeria is not difficult. A large sign will point you in the right direction to this restaurant, situated directly behind the Divadlo Na Vinohradech on the north side of Namesti Miru. Inside customers will find a quaint restaurant modestly decorated. A large menu of Italian classics will not make this pizzeria different from others in Prague, but the quality of food is at the higher end of the spectrum. Specializing in pizza a significantly thorough selection is available to choose from, in addition to a good number of pastas, salads and soups. Review © 2007, Wcities |

A taste of Venice |
Anglicka 9 Prague 12000 Czech Republic +420 2 2423 7461 http://www.pizzeriavenezia.cz |
This large restaurant located a block from the National Museum, serves Venetian-style pizza. Red and white striped gondola posts pepper the interior and lamps dangle over arched doorways. A full Italian menu is also available. The pasta portions are generous and the taste is authentic. Pizzas are served for dine in customers and are also available for carry out - phone ahead for convenient pick up. The prices here are slightly lower than the Prague average. Review © 2007, Wcities |
