This Cuban-themed restaurant somehow achieves both a lively and romantic atmosphere. At brunch, you can watch the Farmers Market as you dine on the outdoor deck. If you want a spot outside, be sure to make a reservation. The menu is seafood heavy, but those who do not enjoy things fishy will love the shredded pork over rice with plantains. It is one of the least expensive and most delicious items offered. Havana has one of the largest drink selections in the city, including homemade margaritas. Review © 2007, Wcities |

In the historic Jefferson Hotel, Lemaire maintains a tradition of fine dining and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine features regional southern cooking with a European flair. The menu is flexible; low fat versions of items are available by request as are other special orders. The service is seamless and the environment, with several dining rooms to choose from, is unparalleled in Richmond. The menu changes monthly and a five-course tasting menu is available. Visiting here is like eating comfort food on a "Happy Days" set. The colorful tile counter is a very comfortable place to dine alone; customers and employees are friendly and conversational. River City is a great place to go for breakfast before visiting the Edgar Allen Poe Museum or St. John's Church, both in nearby Church Hill. Breakfast is crowded on weekends, so be prepared to wait for a table but know that it will be well worth your time. Traditional southern biscuits and gravy are the best in the city. Old-world atmosphere |

Take a trip to Ireland without leaving Richmond. This beautifully decorated pub has a relaxing atmosphere, outdoor dining and delicious food. Sine is a favorite spot for executives to stop in for after-work drinks. The owners of Sine have gone to great lengths to create an authentic Irish pub in Shockoe Bottom. Artisans from Ireland built and designed the beautiful, dark wood interior. It offers traditional pub fare and delicious appetizers like Irish Nachos, stuffed potato skins with gobs of sour cream.
