This restaurant in historic Shockoe Slip is a great place to stop after a long day and relax over a drink and a few plates of tapas. Seared Tuna with a Raisin and Caper Tapenade is an unusual treat and the Artichoke Misto is a must for garlic lovers. For those with a heartier appetite, Europa offers three types of paella; the traditional rice and vegetable dish of Spain ;with meat, fish or a combination. This bright, airy restaurant is family-oriented and is a great place to broaden your child's taste buds. There is something to catch their eye at every turn—shelves of imported foods in brightly colored packages or vibrant wall decorations. The staff is very friendly. The menu includes authentic Cuban roast pork (as an entree or on a sandwich) and three kinds of paella. This is also the only place in Richmond that has Cuban coffee.
