Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, of silent movie fame, were so impressed with this place that they presented it with a gift of gold cutlery, with which the establishment is still pleased to serve on special occasions. Internationally renowned, the restaurant prides itself on its authentic Roman dishes prepared using traditional recipes.
