The best spaghetti in Rome |
26 Via dell'Archetto Rome, Rome 00187 +39 6 678 9064 |
This spaghetti house is close to the Trevi fountain and Piazza Venezia. Romans know it for its excellent spaghetti and superb sauces, and the variously prepared 'bruschette' are also very good. The large variety of spaghetti dishes means they are divided into different categories with condiments such as pecorara, stuffed courgette flowers, clams, capers, white wine, fish etc. The Scozzese pizza is made with sausage and mushrooms, the Catanese with aubergines and there is also one made with ricotta cheese. Tourists tend to sit at tables outside in the shade, beside the fairly quiet street. Romans, on the other hand, prefer to eat inside. Go downstairs and you will find a cool and rustic basement with lots of tables. Review © 2009, Wcities |
