The intriguing name refers to the fact that the restaurant is right near Sergio Vertecchi's cartoleria - Sergio is also the proprietor of this restaurant. The restaurant is large, but if you are looking for an intimate corner you can settle in the 'Heart Room', in which the chairbacks are heart shaped and you eat by the flickering light of a candle. There is a good menu which allows for seasonal vegetables, thus certain dishes can only be enjoyed in autumn, such as those with mushrooms and truffles among the ingredients. Others, based on summer vegetables are available only in that season. Particular delicacies include Tonnarelli with Perorino Cheese, which are served all year round. The pizza pasta should be tried at least once. Desserts include Cappucetto Rosso (Little Red Riding Hood: pizza with ricotta and strawberries!) Review © 2009, Wcities |
