When this place closed, it was considered the end of 'la dolce vita' in the capital. Its reopening a few years ago was the sign of the rebirth of Via Veneto. Happily frequented by Romans and tourists, in particular the rich and famous, it is a pleasant place to sip an espresso, enjoy an ice cream, or just pause for a quick lunch during a working day. A long file of tables and the sparkling counter attracts the passers-by. The interior is very elegant and the service attentive. Review © 2009, Wcities |
