The Festa dei Noantri is one of the oldest and most traditional Roman festivals. It takes place entirely on the streets, squares and alleys of one of the old Roman quarters, Trastevere. The stalls, an integral part of this event, fill every corner of the district. It is possible to buy everything, from sweets to small antiques, from toys to craft work. Don't leave without trying traditional Roman food. The festival takes place each year on a Saturday in mid July.
