The Foro Italico is located near the Olympic and Farnesina Stadiums and the Stadio dei Marmi, in an area that can be surely considered as the heart of Roman sport. It is the undisputed centre of all swimming-related activities. The Roman water-polo team is based here in the Stadio del Nuoto. In the Foro Italico there is also an athletics track and a roller-skating rink.
