This was one of the first Indian restaurants to open in Rome and is certainly among the best known, both for its great prices and great food. Do not count on being able to park anywhere near here - it is in a busy area of the city centre, with very few available parking spaces. The cuisine is North Indian and South Pakistani. Aside from two excellent set menus (one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian), containing dishes such as Cheese Rissoles, Courgette Curry and Butter Chicken, the à la carte dishes are varied and numerous, running from starters through curries to main courses with masala sauce.
