The restaurant was originally a steak house but slowly it was transformed into a restaurant with the gradual introduction of elaborate side dishes and many first course dishes of quality. This is a good place to visit with friends. At lunchtime the prices are low. The decor is very rustic with wrought-iron seats and a great deal of pale colored wood. The lighting is subtle and does not dazzle the eyes. Try the excellent ostrich meat, which, though white, has the rich flavor of a red meat. There is a huge choice of first course dishes. Crepes would be a good choice, whether savory or sweet, but be careful; the choice increases with at least 60. There is a wide range of salads and, if they are in season, you can have mushrooms or truffles. The desserts are made on the premises. Review © 2009, Wcities |
