La Mandragola is a small, elegant restaurant. It is divided into 2 rooms, one of which is very intimate, and provides a relaxing atmosphere with background music and air conditioning. The menu is very Italian with the occasional regional dish. If you phone ahead, you can order typical Cacciuco from Livorno (soup made from seafood, tomatoes and wine). In any case you will find excellent dishes such as Maltagliati, Trofie, Tortelli, Gnocchi, Tagliatelle and Tagliolini. The second course dishes include anchovy and aubergine pie, gilthead with citrus fruits, and steamed turbot. The desserts are excellent and the choice of wines is extensive and mostly Italian.
