The unfamiliar Prati district is essentially a middle-class suburb just north of Vatican City. Due to its affordable pensioni, budget travelers have flocked to this area. The Trionfale flower-and-food market is a worthy sight in this district. This neighborhood also has an abundance of shopping streets cheaper than those located in central Rome. Street crime isn't as common here as in the center of Rome. This district is known as the 12th "rione of Rome," a historic district with the Mausoleum of Hadrian as its logo. Review © 2009, Wcities |
