For traditional Italian food cooked the Jewish way, pay a visit to the Ristorante Piperno. Established in 1860, this place is rich in history and justifiable proud of its past and its amazing food. The restaurant is big and reminiscent of Roman kitchens in days gone by. The dishes, such as Carciofi Alla Guidia and Coda Alla Vacinara, are rich both in flavor and texture. There is also a decent wine list, comprising of 140 wines from all over Italy. Cholesterol watchers beware - most of the fare is deep-fried and way too delicious to resist!
