Fairytale Town

Step into the world of Mother Goose where fairy tales come to life. Children can chase each other around the crooked mile and crawl on the tortoise and the hare. Captain Hook's pirate ship, Owl's tree house and King Arthur's table are all here. The petting zoo has a variety of animals to see, from sheep to donkeys. You can bring a picnic lunch or purchase hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos and drinks from a concession stand. General admission is $3.75 on weekdays, $4 on weekends, and children under three are free.

Funderland

http://funderlandpark.com/ Conveniently located across from the Sacramento Zoo, Funderland is an amusement park designed for kids 12 and under. Popular rides include the Tea Cups, the Dragon Coaster, the Airplanes, and the Funderland train. There is also a carousel and old-fashioned bumper cars. Admission is free, but tickets for the rides are USD1.50 each Monday through Friday and USD1.75 each on weekends/holidays (1 ticket = 1 ride). Private party rentals are available, and the place features an on-site snack bar.

Sacramento Zoo

http://www.saczoo.com/ The Sacramento Zoo is home to more than 400 animals, including the snow leopard, red panda, Bateleur eagles and reptiles. In addition to the animals, the zoo has lakes, gardens, an educational amphitheater, and a train that runs through the premises. Service and amenities also include: picnic areas, concessions, gift store, stroller rentals and complimentary wheelchairs. Admission on weekdays is USD8.50 adults; USD6 children (3-12); children under three are admitted free. For weekend or holiday admission prices add 50 cents (USD) to weekday prices.

+1 916 277 1207 This 9-hole layout, at 5208 yards, has the length and difficulty of many 18-hole courses. With a pair of par-four holes and one par-five, even low handicappers will find their skills challenged. In fact, many regulars consider the par-three, third hole to be one of the best holes north of Pebble Beach. The course maturity is evident in the large trees lining the fairways and lush, manicured greens. The greens fees are USD12 Monday through Thursday, and USD13 Friday through Sunday. Cart rental ranges from USD9-USD12.
