This spectacular event is a fun frolic ride for all ages. Located every summer at Cal Expo, it provides an ideal opportunity to showcase the talents of the people. Interesting competitions are held in various categories from art to livestock. In addition, the fair features cultural exhibits, county exhibits and a livestock nursery. Culinary delights ranging from traditional to new California cuisine are available all over the event grounds. The entire family can find plenty of entertainment with carnival rides, souvenir shops, and nightly concerts.

Kids of all ages will enjoy adventures aboard the interactive pirate ship at Hook's Lagoon. Try body surfing, tubing, or a good-old relaxing float in the three-foot waves of the Breaker Beach wave pool. For the thrill of it, ride the Shark Attack three-person water luge.
