Celestin's Caribbean Restaurant

Cheery Decor & Friendly Service
1815 K St
Sacramento, CA 95814
United States
+1 916 444 2423
Though this colorful eatery is located in the heart of Midtown, the tropical Caribbean feel is authentic. The artwork is vibrant and cheery and your waiter will be friendly with a relaxed attitude. There is a variety of Caribbean dishes to try here. Even the appetizers are exotic, including fried plantains, lamb fritters, shrimp croquettes, taro fritters and grio (fried pork cutlets braised a piquant mayonnaise sauce). The house gumbo is practically a meal in itself and its ingredients vary from day to day.

Delta Of Venus

The breakfast feature is potatoes fried with scallions, a dash of cayenne and other secret ingredients. The service is casual and effective. Taking your order at the wooden counter inside, the cashier doubles as a waiter and brings the quickly executed dish to your table. The menu also features coffee drinks, fresh salads, homemade soups and a variety of sandwiches for lunch. You'll find a table in one of the three dining rooms indoors or on the patio.

Elephant Bar Restaurant

Outdoor dining
6063 Sunrise Mall
Sacramento, CA 95610
United States

The decor here is a jungle theme with plenty of booths and patio tables for outdoor dining. The menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. You can choose from a variety of salads, appetizers, burgers, burritos, specialty entrees and desserts. The burritos are large and tasty and the Caribbean Pot Roast is flavorful and filling. The house specialty is Mud Pie, a dessert that is large enough for two people to share. Because reservations are not accepted, the wait for a table may be very long.
