Rick's Dessert Diner

Fantastic desserts in downtown
2322 K St
Sacramento, CA 95816
United States
+1 916 444 0969
This small restaurant is entirely devoted to dessert. The dining area is a classic 1950s style. The booths and counter stools are done in chrome and pink-and-black vinyl. The huge jukebox plays doo-wop, early rock classics and the occasional bubble gum pop tune. The desserts are memorable. Pies of all kinds are lined up in the display cases, along with towering layer cakes. A couple of slices of chocolate cake oozing with two kinds of chocolate or lemon meringue pie can be meals in themselves. Be sure to bring cash; credit cards are not accepted.

All stir-and pan-fried dishes are cooked in canola oil and MSG is not used in the preparation of menu items. At this dining spot, you can request that the temperature (in terms of spiciness) be adjusted according to your taste; for example, from mild to very hot.
