Comfortable indoor or outdoor seating is available. The menu includes pasta and meat dishes along with a variety of excellent wood-fired pizzas. Start with a mixed green salad with red wine vinaigrette. Next, try a nice plate of ravioli filled with braised greens, ricotta and garlic, sauteed asparagus and Parmesan cheese. Formal dress is recommended, as are dinner reservations.

+1 916 444 0969 This small restaurant is entirely devoted to dessert. The dining area is a classic 1950s style. The booths and counter stools are done in chrome and pink-and-black vinyl. The huge jukebox plays doo-wop, early rock classics and the occasional bubble gum pop tune. The desserts are memorable. Pies of all kinds are lined up in the display cases, along with towering layer cakes. A couple of slices of chocolate cake oozing with two kinds of chocolate or lemon meringue pie can be meals in themselves. Be sure to bring cash; credit cards are not accepted.

At this dining spot, you can request that the temperature (in terms of spiciness) be adjusted according to your taste; for example, from mild to very hot.
