Hardware at low prices |
Südtiroler Platz 11 Salzburg 5020 Austria +43 662 451431 http://www.birg.at/ |
The Birg computer shop is located in the Forum shopping centre which can be found at the Bahnhofsplatz. Unfortunately it is a bit difficult to find the entrance to this shop, you have to go to the left side of the building where there is a cash machine and a pharmacy. You can buy a complete computer system, single components, memory chips, printers and accessories. There is also a very good workshop, albeit a little expensive. Phone calls are hardly ever answered since the shop is always busy. Review © 2007, Wcities |

No traffic jams! |
Südtirolerplatz Salzburg 5020 Austria |
Across the street from the Hauptbahnhof Rail Station entrance, the Central Bus Terminal has a range of services for both long haul and local travel. The close proximity of the two stations should make transfer between the systems fast and easy. The eye-catching yellow Postal Buses arrive and depart from this centre, covering destinations across Salzburg and the neighboring Upper Austira. Local buses and electric trams stop at the terminal as well. All services run like clockwork and are rarely more than a few minutes off schedule. All modes of transportation stop at 11pm. Biggest shopping center in town |
Europastraße 1 Salzburg 5020 Austria +43 662 4420210 http://www.europark.at/ |
The biggest shopping centre in western Austria, Europark contains a wide variety of shopping outlets like Interspar supermarket, H&M clothes store and Saturn electronic equipment chain. There are also several snack bars and restaurants where shoppers can sit down and relax. Since its enlargement in 2005 the choice has become even bigger. Although there are usually more than enough parking spaces, Saturday mornings tend to get predictably busy. Drivers should take the motorway exit marked Kleßheim. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Connection to many European countries |
Südtirolerplatz 1 Salzburg 5020 Austria +43 662 930000 |
Little more than a 10 minute walk from the Congress Centre, Salzburg Station contains all the facilities you would expect from a main station including a restaurant, snack bar and numerous shops. With regular Eurocity, Intercity and inter-regional connections to destinations within continental Europe (including an ICE express train to Munich), Salzburg is exceedingly well connected to the international rail network. Numerous buses (including the airport bus no.2) depart from the forecourt. Review © 2007, Wcities |
