The traditional shop for stationery and office supplies in the Getreidegasse offers a rich assortment. Beside a stationer there is also a department for office supplies. You can find everything from paper napkins, postcards to letter-cards. But can also buy noble writing implement as well as simple refill for a ballpoint pen. The staff is very competent and they attach importance to service and good advice.

A visit to the wine market, which is held in Salzburg every April and May, is therefore highly recommended for anybody remotely interested in wine. Dozens of wine-growers from Austria's different wine-growing regions have stalls at the market, making the choice and value-for-money quite exceptional. Many regional names are unfamiliar outside Austria but are still well worth trying. Drivers should not despair: they can fill up the car and enjoy the wine at home.
