Founded in 1965 and recently expanded to two floors filled with books, this well-lit, well-organized shop boasts friendly bookstore cats and helpful, knowledgeable staff. The upstairs offers a strong religious section covering Christianity and Judaism in depth. Usually, there is an excellent selection of scholarly books from various university and small-press publishers that are priced as used and sold at about half the cover price.
