A man-made lake provides refuge to wildlife and dozens of tame ducks, providing entertainment for the diners at this long-established San Diego seafood restaurant. It also makes the hour-long dinnertime wait much more pleasant for kids and adults alike. Seafood is the best bet here and the daily specials offer great value and delicious preparation. The Clam Chowder, from Anthony's matriarch Mamma Ghio, is renowned, a rich red broth liberally studded with tender clams. Disabled access is limited around the lake area and table clearances can be tight.
