Visit this shop housed in the quirky, double-peaked Victorian-era Yuma Building. While the Yuma did have a few respectable tenants in the early days, it is most remembered as the first brothel to be shut down during the crackdown on the city's thriving red light district decades ago. The spot now features household treasures. As a result of direct importing, the prices here seem surprisingly low. Big ornate boxes suitable for private treasure troves can be found in several designs. Candles and quirky wood decorations run about $10-15. Review © 2009, Wcities |
