The 60-foot vertical entrance at this civic center is a grand pathway to Escondido's City Hall. City Hall was the first building in this complex, next to Grape Day Park and the new California Center for the Arts. Visitors arrange tours of City Hall through the city manager's office. Two weeks advance notice is required. Those who plan to tour the Escondido City Hall may want to note that the tour involves walking up and down staircases between two floors of the building.
