Each October, San Diegans participate in this celebration to honor hometown military personnel. Countless events are held throughout the week including the wildly popular 'MCAS Miramar Air Show'. In addition, the historical 'Star of India' makes a sailing expedition throughout the San Diego Bay. Another popular event is the 'Sea-n-Air Parade', where military vessels and aircraft parade throughout the bay. Viewers line the Broadway Pier and Navy Pier to watch the extravaganza. Admission prices and credit card acceptance vary by event.
