This theater appreciates art and intellect. Located in Hillcrest, the stroll-friendly cultural and artistic center of San Diego, the cinema is invisible from the street, tucked into the heart of a large multipurpose complex. An extensive parking garage below eases local crowding, and the theater does validate parking slips, so bring them with you. The cinematic menu presents foreign, art-house, and independent film releases. The theaters are surprisingly small and good center seats are limited; arrive early if you're a true film buff.
