Known for gold mining and apple pie, the quaint town of Julian is a mountainous hideaway, in contrast to the busy San Diego beaches. When planning a weekend retreat to Julian, be sure to reserve ahead for accommodations. This town is well known for its "no vacancy" signs! One top choice is this bed and breakfast, located in a quiet forest. Providing no television and no phones, this is truly an ideal getaway for couples.
