At an elevation of 2,058 feet within a landscape of rocky foothills, this horseshoe-shaped lake offers a peaceful atmosphere for fishing and boating. Bass, catfish and bluegill are the primary catch for fisherman. Private boats are permitted, but none may have sinks or toilets. A 20-mph speed limit is enforced and a paved launch ramp is available.
