In 1816, Father Antonio Peyri built this charming and beautiful mission, a satellite of the famous Mission San Luis Rey. The walls are covered with Indian paintings and the impressive bell tower stands alone, separated from the rest of the mission structure.You will find a small museum showcasing Indian artifacts and statues as well as other historical displays, and a giftshop.
