This lake has a reputation among fishermen as the prime location to catch largemouth bass. In fact, more bass are caught per fisherman at this location than at any other nearby lake. Other catches include catfish and crappie. Located at an elevation of 490 feet, the lake is a popular spot for casting a line. The fishing fee is $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 8-15. Boats are permitted and a launch ramp is provided for a $5 fee. Rowboats or motorboats may be rented and various supplies such as ice and bait are sold too. Review © 2009, Wcities |
