With over 1,600 acres protected for picnic, fishing and camping purposes, Palomar Mountain State Park is a welcome break from busy San Diego city life. Best of all, the park is rarely crowded, making it a hideaway for nature-lovers. The park offers fishing, with bluegill, catfish, and trout stocked on a regular basis.
