An excellent example of an intact adobe structure, this building rests on the remains of an 1845 Spanish Land Grant. Named after a Spanish Marquez, the adobe is in original condition and houses a very fine exhibit of museum-quality artifacts of its time. Many seasonal events and celebrations are held here throughout the year. The Adobe Gallery and La Tiendita gift shop are also located on the property.
