This charming, intimate restaurant is often overlooked by the tourist hordes, but locals know to look for the candlelit porch with a half-dozen intimate tables. The interior is small and simple, decorated lightly in colonial Spanish style, with tiny tables. Yet, most guests prefer to eat outside for the most romantic experience. The menu offers South American cuisine. Enjoy thin-sliced Argentinean style beef or spicy, flavorful meat stews.

Just sit back and enjoy the tapas bar or order one of the great Paellas and wash it down with a Sangria. The dining room is upstairs, while the bar is downstairs. The downstairs arena, complete with red velvet curtains and innovative artwork, is generally packed with young professionals. Live entertainment is frequently offered as well.

The bar is famous for its extensive wine list and specialty cocktails (including the "Berry Manilow"). The food menu is awash in French, Italian and Mediterranean influences, all served with a dash of Californian flair, and always full of the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. Choose from small plates like the seafood "Menage a Trois," or no-nonsense entrees like Lobster Linguine. Up one flight of stairs is the Mezzanine, a more intimate lounge-style area where revelers can sip drinks and survey the action down below. Keep heading skyward and you'll find yourself on the Rooftop Oasis with a fire pit by your side and a cool breeze in your hair.
