San Diego |
Another residential section of Point Loma in western San Diego, it is often grouped together with Fleetridge since they are quite similar. This district is named after the person who founded the city that was originally there before becoming part of San Diego, Louis Rose. A German immigrant of the 1800s, he rejected skepticism that Roseville (and San Diego) would never amount to anything important since they were on the opposite side of New Town (on the other side of the Bay). However, there are no major attractions in this district for tourists, as it is mainly a location catering to local natives. Review © 2009, Wcities |
