For those who say that San Diego has no culture, let them swallow their words. The San Diego Opera has been providing San Diego with spectacular opera productions since 1964, and they don't show any signs of slowing. The season consists of five operas and there is also a recital series featuring many great artists. Performances are held either in the Civic Theater of downtown or in Sherwood Auditorium of La Jolla. Tickets are available online or through the box office. Call for more information.
