Casual downtown dining |
1165 Sixth Avenue (corner of Sixth and B) San Diego, CA 92101 +1 619 239 4194 http://www.sixthavenuebistro.com/ |
Popular with local business people working in the high-rise towers of downtown San Diego, this eatery focuses on sandwiches, salads and a few Southern-influenced entrees. The menu here reflects the fact that the restaurant is busiest at breakfast and lunch, and closes too early to be a serious contender for dinner. The best bet for a sandwich is the unusual Cocoa Beach Shrimp Po-Boy, featuring Florida rock shrimp in a New Orleans-style remoulade sauce cradled on a fresh French baguette. It is big, high-calorie and worth every penny. Full service catering and complete bar service is offered. Review © 2009, Wcities |
