Taang! was one of the premiere record labels throughout the early days of punk rock. They lent a hand to fledgling groups like the Lemonheads and Lyres, and contributed in every way possible to the burgeoning scene. Today, Taang! is still at it, headquartered in this modest Hillcrest record shop. Inside, you'll find CDs, DVDs, videos, vinyl (including an impressive collection of rare and vintage stuff) and even cassettes. Colorful punk rock t-shirts and posters line the walls, and it's all for sale. They carry products by Taang! artists as well as most of the other seminal acts of the era.
