Having moved from its original location, The Liars' Club is still many things to many people. Local foodies know this is the place for hearty grilled meals at low prices. Punk rockers come for the juke box, which is heavy on the Pogues, the Clash and Mr. Johnny Cash. Penny pinchers keep track of all the different daily Happy Hour specials (such as $2 you-call-it Tuesdays, or Cask Ale Fridays). Party girls prance in for a rainbow of colorful and expertly mixed cocktails. Beer enthusiasts worship the club's tremendous variety of rare imports and micros (including locally produced award winners from the likes of Port Brewing). Clotheshorses fall all over themselves trying to decide from among the wide selection of crude-but-distinctive souvenir Liars' Club t-shirts, hats and undergarments (each emblazoned with its own special lie).
