First-time visitors are awed at this expansive buffet. Customers enter through an awning that resembles a large whale swallowing them up. Once inside, the atmosphere is straight out of Tokyo: high ceilings, plain, almost industrial walls, broken occasionally only by television screens showing programs on undersea life. It can be noisy and no one comes here for slow, romantic dinners; they come to eat. A long section of the buffet is devoted to sushi, prepared by a constantly busy team of chefs located just behind the buffet. Review © 2009, Wcities |
