Explore this virtually untouched, magnificent local mountain rising to 5,000 feet behind the mountain town of Julian. Regularly scheduled free, guided hikes happen weekly throughout the summer and monthly during the fall. Visitors should be aware that there are no restrooms at the site. The weather can be changeable, so layer clothing and bring a jacket even on warm days; wear suitable shoes or hiking boots; and carry enough water.
