Tucked upstairs in an old factory, this small tasting room offers an array of wines for tasting and purchase. For $3, patrons may sample six-eight wines served in sequence. Guests may keep the souvenir glass, which is emblazoned with the black cat emblem of the winery. The dry reds such as the Merlot are most popular, but the winery also produces a fantastic, sweet white Muscat Canelli dessert wine. In addition, this winery serves as a distributor for HoneyRun "melomels" or honey wines. Prices per bottle start at $7, with most selections in the $10-$15 range. Review © 2009, Wcities |
