ZAP hosts this walk-around wine tasting that celebrates and pays homage to the beloved Zinfandel grape. An estimated 260 - 275 wineries will be showcasing all things Zin, making this tasting program the most comprehensive listing of Zinfandel wineries this side of the, well, anywhere! Festivities also include barrel tastings and new releases, and be prepared to hear a lot of buzz about this unique varietal. The atmosphere is casual and some wine-friendly snacks will be offered. The tasting takes place at the Herbst and Festival Pavilions in the scenic Fort Mason Center. Tickets are $49(ZAP members), $59(non-members), $69 at the door.
