For followers of San Francisco's Beatnik culture, this store is a true discovery. In the back corner of the store there is a room with paintings by Beatnik author Jack Micheline. The author painted this room in 1995 as a dedication to the children of San Francisco. Today it is a symbol of the influence of the Beat Generation years. The other reason to visit is the selection of books with an emphasis on fine literature.
