This charming Union Square hotel dates back to 1909. Though a renovation in 1996 brought its appearance up to contemporary standards, it did not diminish the unique European qualities of its decor. It is one of the few hotels in the neighborhood that offers such affordable rates, maybe because some rooms share a bath.
