It is nothing but mellow here, with the sort of funky atmosphere that Janis and Jimi would have felt at home with. Paintings by local artists cover the walls while the locals add their own color. The menu, a sort of diner chow meets hippie nirvana, has good food, huge portions, and great prices at about $10 or less per person. The home fries are justly famous.
