Looking much like an old-money hacienda, this neighborhood favorite is rich with imported tile, murals, carved wood and a welcoming fireplace. The food is the usual mix of enchiladas, rice plates, burritos and the like, but made with fresh ingredients in combinations that change with the season. Try the Roast Chicken spiked with lime and traditional spices. Tequila, sangria, Mexican beer, and agua frescas in wonderful flavors such as mango and watermelon are the perfect accompaniment either in the cozy dining area or the lovely patio.
